As the ONOS project continues to grow, we need to find ways to make it easier for people to find what they’re looking for. The application directory is one example of this — there are now over 100 applications and it can be hard to find what you want when scanning through that list.
We are asking the graphically inclined members of the ONOS community to help us create glyphs to visually discern between the different types of the ONOS applications. In addition to improving the experience for ONOS users, we’ll thank you with ONOS swag and promoting your work and your name widely to the community.
We would like glyphs for the following ONOS application categories:
For flexibility, it would be best to produce the glyphs in SVG form and in square aspect ratio. They can always be converted to PNGs afterwards. (Note: It would help if the SVG “viewbox” used is “0 0 110 110”, as this is what we have used most commonly in the glyph library.)
Glyphs should have no inherent border in order to allow one to be dynamically drawn by the GUI theme if necessary.
Glyphs should be monochromatic to allow easy incorporation with different GUI themes.
