What Does the Training Camp Offer ?

  1. A systematic arrangement of the ONOS knowledge base
  2. Face-to-face meetings with project leaders
  3. A complimentary ticket to HUAWEI CONNECT 2016 (and a complimentary lunch too)
  4. A chance to participate in the ONOS certification examination (applicants who pass the examination are awarded an official ONOS Associate certification)
  5. But act quickly — spaced is limited to 50 seats.

What Is the Target Audience for the Training Camp?

  1. You need to have an interest in developing for ONOS, familiarity with basic SDN concepts, and strong Java programming ability
  2. After the training, a certification examination will be given. Applicants who pass the examination will be given an official ONOS Associate certification, which is awarded in person by ONOS worldwide leaders in the HUAWEI CONNECT Developers’ hall.

ONOS Architecture and Cores ONOS layered architecture and modules, Core Subsystem and distributed architecture (high availability, high performance, and scalability), distributed storage and design.
ONOS Northbound interface and programming ONOS Northbound abstraction, Intent Framework introduction, operations example and design methodology; Flow Objective subsystem architecture and use; ONOS NBI and API, service calls to the northbound of Core subsystem and registering listeners.
ONOS Southbound Interface ONOS southbound architecture, the relations between southbound interface and Core subsystem and the mechanism of Provider registration; Openflow protocol introduction and principles; Netconf protocol introduction and workflow; Driver framework, design objective, and work flow.
Application of ONOS: SDN-IP, IP+ Optical,VTN/vDC, SFC ONOS application scenarios and implementations, including SDN-IP application scenarios, design objectives, architecture design; IP+ optical usage scenario and design; VTN/vDC application scenarios and architecture design; SFC application scenarios and ONOS principle introduction.
Programing Demonstration Demonstrate simplified ONOS application development, coding, compilation, packaging, testing and running.
Certification Exam Explain the exam rules, guide students in completing the ONOS certification exam.
