Join us for ONOS Build on November 2-4 in Paris

September 13, 2016

ONOS Build 2016 is our first large scale developer conference bringing together people from all over the world to share, learn, align, plan and hack together. The event will take place on November 2-4 in Paris and everyone in the ONOS community is invited to join. To make it easy to attend, registration is free for ONOS developers and students.

Why should I attend ONOS Build?

This event is a unique opportunity to meet in person with the members of the ONOS community. You will be able to talk directly with the ONOS core architects and share your great ideas with them to shape the future of ONOS. You’ll also be able to promote your work with the community and learn what other community members are doing.

What would I do at ONOS Build?

The event is planned to be a mix of presentations, social activities and interactive sessions. There will also be a range of options to choose from depending on your level of familiarity with ONOS. The schedule for the event has been developed in an open discussion with the community so we’re confident that this is meeting the needs of ONOS developers and contributors (and thank you to everyone who has given feedback on our plans).

What if I need help getting to the event?

If you are interested in attending the event, but you might not have the funds to travel we are providing a limited number of travel subsidies to active community members. To apply for a subsidy, please register and indicate on the form that you are interested in a subsidy and we’ll follow up to discuss options. Another option is to plan to join us for future ONOS Build events—for example, we’re starting to plan an event in Asia in 2017.

How can we support this event?

In addition to attending the event, there are opportunities to sponsor ONOS Build. Receiving the support of sponsors will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of the event and will help cover the costs for travel and accommodation of our talented community participants who otherwise may not be able to participate in the conference. If you’re interested in potentially becoming a sponsor, please contact us.
